Hi All,

After two failed rounds of ISCI we had some pretty good improvement in sperm count but motility still wasn't up to scratch. We thought we'd give it one last proper try last month prior to my husbands renal transplant as we aren't sure if the sperm will take a nose dive.

I had really mild spotting yesterday which I've never had before a period before. I'm due around now but don't have regular cycles so not quite sure. They cary by up to 7 days or so..

I took a test this morning (had a cup of tea at 1am so not quiet concentrated urine). There is a very faint line. What do you think? We had a result last year similar and dismissed it because it wasn't as strong as the control line.

My husbands is still in hospital. What should I tell him?

I've done a second test which looks stronger - which I've attached.

Thanks

S

I'm going to go and get some digital tests for tomorrow. It feels like my period is going to come any second.

it looks like a bfp to me. The pink strips are just like that from what I have seen. You seem to be in utter disbelief! Congratulations lady 🎉

Also, the symptoms of so similar to AF that it is very difficult to tell them apart. I had stomach cramps and backache.

Yeah lots of cramps and back pain last night.. Thanks

Deffo a line!!! Get a clear blue digital that way when it says the words it makes you feel better, that’s what I did! Also I felt like I was going to get my period any moment when I got my bfp, I think it’s just everything going on in there! Xxx

in reply toMaterialbarbie

I agree with this completely- I felt my period was coming when I got BFP which is now my 8 week old daughter. There is much going on - second implantation stage & lots stretching will happen as the baby grows.

Oh & huge congratulations on the bfp. Wishing you the best with your pregnancy ❤️xoxo

Looks positive to me! Congrats

Couldn't wait til tomorrow. Just drove to Tesco and got a clear blue digital. Says 2-3 weeks pregnant. I'm shaking. After the disaster ISCI cycles with failed fertilisation first round and only 3/12 second round I can't believe I'm pregnant naturally. I'm petrified.

Going to take the digital test in when I go to see my husband in hospital. Best week of our lives - a long waited kidney transplant and a pregnancy in the same week!!!!

Thanks everyone.

Congratulations! Definitely a BFP. As long as you testing at sensible point (ideally your OTD) then the strength of the line doesn’t matter and doesn’t need to match the control lines or so I’m told. If you do another test next week it will prob be darker as your hcg levels rise. Congrats again 🎉 xx
