Hello all

I haven't written a post on here since our last IVF cycle ended in a chemical pregnancy back in October, but I just HAD to share this news with you seeing as it's too early to be sharing it with anyone else!

Our OTD is this Sunday, but as I'm sure you can understand my patience has finally disappeared and I suddenly just HAD to test today (2 days early) at 13dp3dt, so (stupidly) without using my first morning urine I used a First Response, which came up with a dark positive IMMEDIATELY!

For those of you who know of my last experience of testing on OTD and it being an extremely faint positive you can understand how I nearly fell off the loo seat on seeing this thick dark line appear as soon as the urine creeped up to it this time!

I've spoken to the clinic & as it's so close to test day it's definitely classed as a positive result. I'm totally buzzing and feel slightly hysterical. Obviously it's very early days but for the first time ever I've finally seen a proper strong positive pregnancy test & felt that total bonkers elation! Hooray!

Wishing everyone huge amounts of luck and keeping everything crossed that this ends in us having a healthy baby! x

Yes absolutely. I didn't have this last time as it was such a faint positive on OTD, so I just had a feeling something wasn't right and didn't really dare to get my hopes up (ended up as a chemical). I know it's obv very, very early days but I'm overjoyed that it is such a strong immediate positive at the moment. The only thing I feel bad about is that my poor hub is at work & I did it without him because I was being sneaky! Was silly really but I couldn't help it 😆 Needless to say he is over the moon and keeping everything crossed for the next stage of the journey & will hopefully come home with a Hummingbird red velvet cupcake later to celebrate 👌🏼 xx

Excellent news lady 😘
