Period after iui

So girls period was 5 days late after failed iui .Woke up Saturday no warning signs apart from a slight niggling pain Friday .Normally period is about 5/6 days long so is it normal for it only to last 4days and will my period arrive as normal next month I’m usually like clockwork every 28-29 days I just hope it hasn’t messed up future cycles because it will mess everything up for me as I’m normally so regular

I’m sorry to hear that Noah. I’m afraid I can’t help with query as I’ve no experience of iui (or regular periods for that matter) just sending you hugs and hoping everything settles quickly for you. X

My cycles after my first few rounds of IVF werent messed up but the longer its going on its stretch my cycles out but only for a few days. Hopefully you'll snap back to normal!xx

Sorry Noah1981 no experience with iui but my next period with failed ivf fresh transfer came a few days after bnf and then it came about 30-35 days later and I am always 28-30 days. Good luck honey xxx
