Sitting in the Sun during 2 week wait??

Hey guys, it may seem rather inconsequential to ask this - but any advice or suggestions on sitting in the sun during 2WW??

I know no saunas or sunbeds or steam rooms etc but is sitting in the sun (not exposing my tummy) unadvisable? I don’t know if I’m confusing heating up my womb temperature up with my body temperature?

I’m off for another week and I want to sit in the garden and relax and read my book and/or do something coursework. What do you think?? I keep thinking is it worth it but I don’t know if it’s harmless? What do you think!!

Thank youuuuu xx

I be interested to know about this too as in the same situation. I remember reading somewhere when we were first trying that you should book a holiday as the extra Vitamin D from the sun helped. Wishing you lots of luck x x

I know. There’s so much conflicting information about it-relax and de stress and that Vit D does you good but then it’s don’t raise your womb temperature 😬😬 it’s so hard to ever know if you’re doing the right thing x x

Hey! I had treatment in Spain and we stayed a week after transfer just in June so it was hot hot hot! Consultant at the clinic advised not to sit and bake in the sun, definitely no sunburn. She advised sitting out early and later afternoon and evening and if sitting out when sun at hottest to be in the shade. She said just to be sensible and if I felt as though I was sweating and it was uncomfortably hot to move to somewhere shaded and cooler. Hope that helps 😊

Good luck with the 2WW and wishing you all the best.

Thanks lovely this does. I think maybe not sitting out as it’s expected to be over 30 degrees where we live. I do love sitting in the sun I find it so relaxing! But it’s the womb/ body temp issue I’m concerned of. Thank you! X x x

My clinic said you need to make sure you don’t feel hot so advised not to sit in the sun. Your idea of reading a book in the shade sounds lovely... I think I’ll do that to! x

Lots of ladies in hot countries have successful treatments and although they are perhaps not basking in the sun they have to get by in the heat. Ive also seen lots of other ladies that have gone on holiday or have treatment abroad (including me). My nurse just told me to keep well hydrated and drink lots of water. Enjoy!xx
