What are your thoughts on acupuncture? I've never had it before but seriously considering it for my FET treatment next month. We are going through IVF due to my husbands failed VR so I think it would purely be for relaxation purposes?
I'm a little torn as I've never experienced it before but would get the treatment paid for by my works Simplyhealth membership so thought it was worth giving it a shot?
I just had a fet and did a couple of sessions leading up to it.... then on the day of transfer i went before transfer and the. Immediately after... i got my bfp tho... but also it seemed help me relax before the procedure... good luck my dear xxx
I'm trying it just to help me relax and to adjust to my fear of needles. I'm trying to retrain my brain to see the needle as relaxing/Not painful so that I don't freak out when I start stims.
It's calming and if you're like me and struggle to get time in a busy schedule to relax it's worth having just so you have some mapped out 'de-stress' time x
If it’s paid for then give it a shot I would say, though I would also say it’s worth seeing an acupuncturist who specialises in fertility treatment. I found it helpful.

I did acupuncture for my FET and that cycle had a BFN. Not sure if there is any proof that it works in helping you get a BFP but it is good for a relaxation and calming effect.
I've done both acupuncture & reflexology but much prefer reflexology, which I think is also covered on simplyhealth. Are u on full cover in simplyhealth? I paid for some of my acupuncture with it but could only get 50% of each appointment, and capped at a certain amount for a year.
