Empty sac

Hi

I had my first daughters 18months ago after round of ivf. I was due to start a FET this month when I had a shock BFP! Because of my history and some pains Iv been monitored weekly with bloods and scans. Yesterday I had a scan which I thought I was 5+5 and there was just an empty sac no yolk! I was wondering if anyone has had an early scan with an empty sac but went on to have a viable pregnancy.

I think it’s still early to see anything... I had ivf and they did a scan at 6.5 weeks as I think that’s the earliest you can see anything... so don’t give up hope just yet 😘😘

5+5 is still extremely early, the clinic I'm with don't do a viability scan until 8 weeks. Try to stay positive. Good luck x

Its pretty early to see anything more than that at this stage! Hang on in there.xx

I had mine this morning due to pains & slight bleeding so on the internal scan it showed an empty sac messing 18mm she has sent me for bloods and told to come back in 2 days for a further scan and bloods I feel sick this is even happening, they said either empty sac , too early to see embryo of eptopic. Anyone else gone through this in 6w 5D
