Pink blood

So my period is due on Friday and I've had pink blood when I wipe since this morning... Put a liner on and nothing on it. Has anyone had this this early before their period? Due to start our first round of IVF in a few months and wondering what the hell is going on...

Hi Itsalongjourney. It is quite common to have a little pink discharge before the full flow of your period begins. I wouldn't have thought this is a problem, but if there is, I'm sure it will be found when you start your IVF> Hope all goes well for you. Diane

Thanks so much for your reply Diane. I sometimes have this a day or two before I'm due but never this early.

Hi. It might be down to a luteal phase defect and your womb lining is not building up properly. See how it goes, then see your GP if it doesn't sort itself out. Diane
