Just want write to share some hope around. I have had multiple IVF, IUI, and two Donor Egg transfers over the last ten years and not a single BFP until now. My second DE transfer seems to have taken, I cannot believe it, I actually mean that. We are both so shocked but I thought I would just do a quick post to say hang on in there to anyone struggling through the motions of this punishing process.
I have no idea if I will get to full term, I like so many only have hope left but for what it's worth I wanted to share my change of lifestyle since Nov 2018. Firstly I started an exercise routine, I picked the 90 Joe Wicks Challenge and followed it quite closely. Other than this helping me feel physically stronger it helped me mentally in really significant ways. Then I started eating mainly a meat-free diet, opting for the Veggie Plan (from Joe) and sticking to this 90% of the time. Lastly, I gave up alcohol, well almost completely but I mean a glass of wine in weakness once a month.
I really don't know if any of this will help anyone out there but I have read so many posts on here for the support I just wanted to try to give something positive (tentatively positive) and hope this can help anyone out there feeling like they will just never get that positive result.
Lots of luck to you all

Congratulations hon. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Who knows if your lifestyle changes made a difference with conceiving but they'll certainly help you feel well during pregnancy xxx
We are considering DE in Spain if this cycle fails- would you mind messaging me the name of your clinic and how your experience was if possible please? Thanks xx
Hi, we had success with first DE fresh in Czech Republic. Our clinic is ******* They have very good success rates and offer lighter skinned donors (if this is what you are looking for). No waiting lists. Worth a look if you are trying to make decisions. Good luck 🤞
Yeyyyy! Congratulations dear! We've been TTC for approximately 10 years and several months ago got bfp too. We were on the seventh sky, you know! I couldn't help crying for two days! I wish you all the best and happy and easy pregnancy! Be blessed!
Hi emma. That's wonderful news. Hope you can get your first scan booked soon, so you get to meet your little "bean". Hope all continues to go well for you. Diane
Oh two other small things I forgot to mention - when I went to the clinic in spain they redid my NK Cells test as they said it was not the right test and they didn’t accept the results, instead they did a different test which showed up my KIR Receptors were not compatible with my husbands genetic profile and so suggested this was part of the problem. So this led to some immunology treatment. The other thing we did was the lining test which showed that my previous transfers would have all been on the wrong day and so with the DE we started the progesterone a day early for everything to be ready at the right time. I know it’s easy to obsess about these tests and that they are very expensive but I wish I had done all of the tests earlier as I think it’s better value to do the tests and get the right meds rather than put yourself through the agony of multiple rounds and then do more tests. My first doctor was of the opposite view and advised us to do a round of IUI and a round of IVF and then if it didn’t work do more invasive tests. After the whole experience I wish I had just done all the tests and then be in a position to know I had all the information I needed. Anyway, as I said easy to get obsessed! X
Congratulations dear and thanks for the encouragement
Such lovely news oh my god 10 years you’re amazing to keep going. It took us 7 years to conceive our daughter whose 5 weeks & that felt long enough! Huge congratulations to you & wishing you the very best with your pregnancy hope it goes smoothly xoxo
