Off to my day 12 scan to check my lining

Hello lovely ladies. 👋 I’m on my way to the clinic for my day 12 scan to check my lining ahead of our FET. Excited and very nervous. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed everything looks okay. If all is okay, do you know how long it is likely to be before they defrost our embies? We have four day 3 Frosties. xxx

Good luck Hun!!! They did mine a week later and defrosted the same day as transfer and just rang me up in the morning. Good luck x

Once they decide your lining is ready, you get started on progesterone. You’ll get it for as long as your embies are “old”, I reckon three days in your case. Then transfer happens. They’ll only defrost one in the morning of your transfer. If for some reason it doesn’t thaw well (i.e. Doesn’t continue developing) they’ll take another one. I’ve had two FETs now and both had thawed well. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. For some reason they have said they are going to defrost all of our embies at once to develop them to day 5. We did question this but they said this would give us the best chance of choosing the best blastocyst? xx

Fingers crossed for u hun I hope all goes well🙏 One of the nurse in Clinik told me that they do around 40min before transfer.

I got my first scan next Wednesday and I’m not there yet and I’m nervous ☺️

Is that mean u have natural frozen cycle hun ? Xx

Hello. ☺️It went well - yay! My lining was over 8mm which they said was good so they are going to thaw our embryos next Tuesday. All being well, my transfer will be on Thursday or Friday next week. 🤞🤞🤞xxx

Hi Hannah. Thank you for your kind message. Yes, we are going through a FET as we batched our embryos so I went through two lots of stimulation earlier this year. Wishing you all the best too. Stay strong. 💪 xx

Hi lovely ladies. 😀 It was good news - yay! My lining was over 8mm which apparently is good. 👍 I start my progesterone and other meds on Sunday. Our embryos will be thawed on Tuesday and the embryologists will call us in the afternoon to let us know how they are doing. All being well my transfer will hopefully be on Thursday or Friday. 🤞🤞🤞 We are one step further on our journey. Thank you so much for all your messages this morning. It really helped me to feel a little less nervous. xxx
