Hello Ladies I haven’t been on here for a while as I have been recovering from Anorexia. I am still struggling with the negative thoughts about eating but in a much better place weight wise than i have been for a while. I am about to start my 4th cycle of ivf and am a bit anxious about it all. My periods have been irregular since my anorexia started 7 years ago but since being in recovery and being an inpatient for 7 months they started regulating and being every 4 weeks bang on but last month i had a disappointing month where i was 17 days late. Im now worried whether i am doing it at the right time due to the late period, I’m worried that my egg quality is poor, which was the reasons for my last 3 failed attempts. I don’t want to keep going through this emotional stress and I’m only getting older being 36 now. I have started taking proxeed after advice from my clinic and extra vitamins and minerals. Any advice from you lovely ladies would be appreciated. Sending you all the luck in the world xx

Hi Hun I just wanted to say stay strong and well done for beating anorexia!!!

With regards to you periods, my clinic always checks my last two period dates before I start so maybe if they check this they can advise you as I know they need this to plan your egg collection when ovulating etc. Maybe they will just scan you more recently so they know when u ovulate but best to check with them.
