Overseas clinics and travel insurance

Hi ladies

For those of you who have treatment overseas-what do you do about travel insurance? Do you need to get something special to cover especially in case something unexpected happens??

I didn't do anything different about travel insurance. X

Since I did my treatment in Europe (and I am a Europen citizen) I just applied for the EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARD (EHIC, ehic-card.org.uk/), taking with me also the analogous card from my home country. And, of course, I crossed my fingers!

I didnt do anything differently for insurance! I did when I had a hysteroscopy under GA, got a one off thing but for transfers etc nothing different!xx
