Hi all, have been away for a while but sadly no good news. We have now transferred all of our 12 beautiful embryos without getting our baby. This means we will be doing something we never thought we’d have to do and will be doing another fresh cycle. It’s been 3 years since our last fresh cycle, could you let me know which supplements people were recommended for sperm please? Particularly to support morphology and motility. Thanks, also looking to move clinic. If anyone has experience with ARGC clinic in London could you please private message me? Thanks ladies xx

Sperm supplements and new clinic
Hey lovely - sorry I don’t have any advice but wanted to say hi, send positive vibes and wish you heaps of luck xx
Thanks lovely, just been updating myself with your story, so sorry your still waiting for your rainbow also xx
Impryl was recommended by our doctor. Have you also done COMET test? X
we were recommended impryl, for my first fresh cycle we didn't take it and got a chemical, gonna start my second fresh cycle in june next year, but already seen so much results after hubby been taking it for 2 months, I had a natural chemical just last month, disappointing but hopefully. We were also told to take menevit, but can't find anywhere in the UK or online
Hi, we had ICSI due to severe male factor. The first couple of cycles I miscarried, before the 3rd fresh cycle we ordered Fertilsan M for my husband from Germany. Did a FET from that and recently gave birth to twin boys. We didn't do another sperm test after taking the vitamins but it must've done something. Best of luck, hope you get your rainbow baby soon x
Hello nun, I really can understand the feelings of this journey, I too was in the same boat. I had it from Eastern Europe( Ukraine). There I got really the great atmosphere, support and the most important the positive vibes for me and the coming baby. Our first round we got a lot more eggs. On the day my husband's sample was poor motility and morphology - they'd always been great so that was a shock. They said to do ICSI (hadn't planned to). The fertilization was then <50% even with ICSI that day and we only got two blasts, albeit top quality. The consultant said something as simple as my husband having had a cold two or three months before was enough to have made such a big difference to his results. My husband took a menevit supplement which is really high dose antioxidants (he had high sperm dna fragmentation). Who knows if all this helped our IVF cycle but at least I felt we had done everything we could. We ended up with 100% fertilization and all made it to 5 day blasts. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant. I also took omega 3, magnesium glycinate, vitamin d, ubiquinol, pregnancy multivitamin with methylated folate, probiotic and vitamin c. It's worth noting that not all supplement brands are created equal so make sure you go with the better ones (sadly more expensive). Also we went organic with all our food too. For me, I was on all the usual vits mentioned above, tried to keep a healthy-ish diet but drank masses of full fat milk. I wish you all the best and baby dust towards you.🤰👼👼👼
Hi there, I thought I’d ask you the brands of the supplements you took. Could you provide me the names through private message? Thanks in advance
Hi lovely
We were also recommended Impryl as well as cod liver oil (for Omega 3s), Vitamin D (there are studies showing men with low Vit D levels have lower motility) and zinc.
Like Hayleh said, I would suggest having the Comet test done to check for DNA fragmentation. If it comes back with high fragmentation, you’ll need to have PICSI or IMSI with your next cycle. xx
My husband took menevit for 3 months - we managed to get it shipped from Australia but took ages. Our clinic also said they were able to order it in for us.
Hey Core. No advice I’m afraid but just wanted to say welcome back (although sorry that it means you are having to do another fresh cycle). Wishing you the best of luck lovely xx
I took Proceive, 400g ubiquinol, vitamin D, vitamin C, NAC, Inofolic alpha. My husband was on Proceive. I have heard Impryl is great too.
I did 6 months of Clomid cycles at ARGC, their treatments are very intense, I think you will be checked daily (which also means you will spend a lot).
Having said that reading your story I think you would give a great shot there! I read some people had a successful pregnancy there after many failed cycles elsewhere. Good luck! ✨
Thanks, yes they’ve said about the daily monitoring but after all we’ve been through we need to do something majorly different. Is there a reason you didn’t continue to do ivf there?xx
Yes I agree with you! The reason is I’ve been offered IVF with NHS, one fresh and one FET, so I am trying with them. I am not sure if I would go to that clinic myself if I had to go privately, I am not sure they would accept the Access Fertility packages. For me is the beginning of the IVF route and I get why you wouldn’t mind to be monitored more closely. So I left the clinic for other reasons (for now!) but otherwise I felt I was being well cared for there!
Awww Core, I've no advice really. I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you....you're one of my warriors I'm still checking in for and routing for. I know it does mean much but chucking every single bit of luck and love your way!!xxx
Thanks lovely means a lot that you are still routing for me! Feeling excited but also nervous for our new plan!xx
Hi sorry to hear you are back here and good luck. Impryl is very good for sperm xx
