Hi all, had a failed 1st FET start of June and withdrawal bleed a few days later. Anyone know when I can expect a full proper period?

Period after FET
I’m sorry to hear about your failed FET. I got my period 3-4 days after I stopped taking all meds.
Thanks Bectoliver. I had a bleed the same time, but my doctor said that is a withdrawal bleed from coming off the meds, and that I need to wait for a full proper period x
Oh really? I had a regular period and went right into my next transfer after. That’s so interesting. Maybe it’s a different protocol? Do you mind me asking what you were taking?
Now that I think about it. I guess technically you don’t ovulate when you’re on the meds so I guess it wouldn’t be considered a real period. Sorry, I don’t know the answer then since I went right into the next FET. I hope it comes soon for you though.
Thanks Bext, how did your next cycle go? I'm so nervous to start the 2nd after the first failing x
It’s gone well so far. My lining was good, it was the same as last time. My transfer was on Tuesday (day 3 embryo) so I won’t know until Friday. I know some clinics don’t do transfers back to back but mine just told me to come in again right after. I’m also on Canada too so things might be a bit different.
Oh that's really great. I hope things go well for you! 💖
Thank you!
Sorry to hear about your failed cycle. Your next period come for your usual cycle time. So for me I started 28 days after my withdrawal bleed. I’ve heard some women say it can take a bit longer but shouldn’t be by much x
Sorry about your failed FET. Mine have varied to be honest. I think I usually went to around a 32 day cycle after a failed transfer though I did have one that stretched to around 43 days. There's no real way of knowing unfortunately!xx
I had withdrawal bleed about 1 day after stopping taking the meds 26th May and I came on my first period 26th June. I normally start 28th of every month so my cycle has sorted itself pretty quick.
But I know it can take a while for periods to ‘get right’.
