And we have one little chicken in the freezer ๐Ÿ˜Š

After yesterdayโ€™s 50/50 survival odds our little embryo had a brilliant afternoon and evening and managed to become a blast so we could freeze it .

I know itโ€™s only 1 but Iโ€™m so pleased that it didnโ€™t need to go to day 6 and the lab said that it was โ€˜a really good blastโ€™.

Thanks for all the support ladies. As usual you have all calmed me with your experiences and advice.

Now to organise the FET ๐Ÿ˜Š xx

Ah, it's a little fighter that one, what great news. Take the time before the FET to look after yourself, physically of course, but emotionally too - spend time with friends, have a cheeky glass of wine or two, do things you enjoy and get yourself feeling 100% for your transfer xxx

Thank you so much.

I think itโ€™ll be a period away from the next one before we start anyway. I have already been partaking in the Prosecco over the weekend as I knew I could ๐Ÿ˜Š xx

Awww brilliant news Kyell, really pleased for you! Now its time for you both to relax a little before you get to having it put back!! Yeyyyyyy!!xx

I know, Iโ€™m so relieved that it managed to make it. I know I have the three cycle package but I didnโ€™t want to not get any at all with the first one.

Has packing commenced or are you so used to travelling now that you do it in an hour? ๐Ÿ˜Š x

Definitely good news!!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

I'm pretty set on what I usually take now....I'm a little chunkier than would like to be so it will be more a case of what fits!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆxx

Yeah I know the feeling. I feel the size of a house with these stupid pessaries๐Ÿ˜ฉ.

The good news is that your OH will tell you that you look lovely anyway because heโ€™ll not want to face the ivf anger ๐Ÿ˜‚ xx

You said you were on the HRT patches right?

Can I ask a quick question?

I thought I was having a natural FET but todayโ€™s review letter says that they are recommending that I do HRT because of my uncooperative periods๐Ÿ˜”.

How have you found them? As fun as most hormone altering drugs? x

I am doing HRT in patches and progynova tablets. I'm actually ok on them, not many side effects. Bit of cramping at the start but not much else apart from fluid retention. It stops you from ovulating so you can build your lining as long as necessary. Some ladies feel a bit nauseous on them and the fluffy edges you get around where you take them off in a pest but doable. I'm not sure what drugs you've done already but suprecur/buserelin for me is the worst thing so anything away from that is ok.xx

Thank you so much.

I only had one injection of suprecur the day before the trigger so I donโ€™t really know itโ€™s evilness ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Iโ€™ve just done a bit of reading online that suggests FETs after HRT are more successful than natural ones so thatโ€™s positive. I always do what they tell me anyway at the clinic so HRT it is x

Yes that's right, I've read the same. It's not half as tough doing an FET as it is a fresh cycle so that is definitely a bonus!xx

Thatโ€™s great news. What a little fighter x
