I had my first failed IVF last week. Doctor says it did not work due to embryo quality, mine were grade 2, still at the middle, not really too bad, any idea about how to improve embryo quality? Also if I want to do a second IVF what should be the time gap? I appreciate your thoughts

Question
Hi Dody, I had exactly the same thing. My egg quality was grade 2 which they said is good but I was also told my quality wasn't great... confusing! I looked into a few things about it and read that coq10 or ubiquinol can help with egg quality, also DHEA or fish oils can help. Im no doctor so I can't recommend these but my consultant said there's no known side effects so happy for me to take it. Might be worth looking into and seeing if your clinic are happy for you to take it.
I haven't had another egg collection yet so I don't know if its made a difference but I will find out soon enough.
Thanks so much for such helpful tips. Do you know if taking DHEA with CoQ10 is ok? I mean I know that sometimes taking more than one supplement would affect the body but I need to check it.
