Panicking! Can’t believe I’ve messed this up

My FET transfer is booked for next Tuesday and I’ve just realised I’ve been taking my drugs wrong. Can’t believe I didn’t check and am freaking out right now 😫

We were told to start cyclogest and lubion on Saturday. I know the nurse definitely said Saturday as myself and my partner commented on this as we left because we had an event on Friday.

I did realise this was later than we started during my last cycle but pressured it was because we’d added the injections this time. Just found our print out that says we should have started them 2 days earlier on Thursday.

I’ve tried but can’t get hold of my clinic. Do you think they’ll cancel my cycle? I’m so angry with myself for letting this happen, could just cry.

Try not to panic, I am not an expert but from what I gather normally you will have a transfer 3 to 5 days from starting the progesterone ( depending whether you are having 3or 5 day transfer) so you just have to speak to your doctor and probably get the day of the transfer moved x don’t think you have to cancel the transfer x

Thank you, I really hope so. My clinic only does transfers on certain days. Thursday is actually a day they do but I’m so worried they’ll be fully booked by now x

I see ... just try to stay calm and talk to them, they must find a solution, try not to worry too much x

Oh no! I would say try not to panic too.

Some people have completely natural FET’s and so the cyclogest and Lubion may not even be needed and might just be a precaution for lining etc.

You’ll get through to them tomorrow and they’ll reassure you xx

FET drugs aren't so time sensitive like stims I doubt it'd be a question of cancelling but it might be rescheduled. That's the good thing about medicated FET, they can do it when it suits patient and clinic because your cycle is under their control. It's a stressful time and things like this throw you - all the hormones don't help!! but it can all be worked out, don't panic xxx

I think they’ll just delay your transfer by a couple of days. Mine had been brought forward by a few days after what they’ve seen at my scan. I think you’ll be ok x

It was Friday but it’s been brought forward. I was on a medicated FET but my body decided to ovulate so it’s been brought forward to Wednesday otherwise I would miss the implantation window. I would have tried naturally if we weren’t transferring 2 - don’t think my doctor would be too happy 😂 Good luck for your tww x

I’d say the same as the others. Please try not to panic, the clinic will be able to advise and I’m sure there’s time to amend any possible errors with the medication, if there’s anything to amend. I hope you can get hold on then very soon and get this out of your mind and just look forward to your transfer. Good luck!
