I’ve been experiencing pulling/tugging pains persistently for the last three days near my right ovary. I’m 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and concerned about eptopic. Has anybody experienced similar?

Pulling pains after BFP
Try not to over think things, I know it’s easier said then done.
I had tummy pains, and slight spotting, I was getting so upset.
But we had our scan yesterday, and it was all in the right place and we managed to see the heart beat.
I’m sure everything will be ok. :-)! Xxx
Thank you for the reassurance 🤗 so glad you got to see your little ones heart beat 😍 bet that was an amazing feeling. I’m glad it worked out ok after your concerns. I’ve been ignoring most symptoms but this one is persistent 🙈 Xx
I think if you’re really worried, contact the clinic. They may get you in early for a scan.
Thank you. It was amazing. I did cry, but they had tissues on hand. 🥰.
I’m sure everything will be fine for you and your little one as well xxx
Yes!! Exactly the same! I actually spoke tot the clinic this afternoon and they booked me in now for a scan on Thursday, will be 6weeks exactly. I think it's my ovary actually. I had some twinges after my egg collection then it went away but last Fri my husband and I.. finally you know.. and during I felt super sharp pain on a right side and since then twinges are back. She said not to worry but best to check xxx
Thanks for sharing lovely, was a comfort knowing it’s probably nothing to worry about. I got sent to the early pregnancy unit today and had a nice high beta result 😊 they are giving me an early scan tomorrow too so hoping for the best 🙈 hope your not too uncomfortable and I’ll be looking out for your update tomorrow 😘 xxx
It could be your ovaries as the follicles May not have gone down yet. We had a scan today and my follicles are still quite large but our nurse said this is actually a sign of lots of progesterone in the system and I’ve been having slight pains in my side . Wishing you all the best xxx
I hadn’t even thought about the ovaries until you mentioned, good point. The nurse also confirmed this could be the reason today, got a scan tomorrow now so hoping for the best. Hope you start to feel more comfortable ❤️ Xx
Yes I have! A the same time too. Your body is going through a lot of changes. It is where your baby is growing & uterus is stretching, actually it is a good thing ( I freaked out too) sometimes it can be also trapped wind which is painful! Increased progesterone can play havoc with your bowels.
I don’t know how your local EPU ( early pregnancy unit) works but mine requires a GP referral. If you can self refer do but if not ask your GP or clinic to arrange an early scan. It will put your mind at rest ( unless you already have scan booked via fertility clinic soon)
Hope you feel better soon & all the best with your pregnancy xoxo
Thanks for sharing your experience ❤️ a midwife referred me to the early pregnancy unit today and my beta came back quite high so I will have a scan tomorrow 🙌 really hoping for the best. I’m starting to feel more relaxed thanks to you lovely ladies xxx
Congratulations on your BFP. Was it a fresh transfer or a frozen transfer you had? If fresh then it could still be ovaries settling down after egg collection. I was still getting pains at 8 or 9 weeks after mine. The other thing it could be is round ligament pain. As Jess said your uterus will be stretching even at this early stage. Worth asking for an early scan for peace of mind though.
Hi, has the pulling stopped? With my ectopic I had brown discharge along with pains xx
It’s not as frequent now but still there, and I’ve had no discharge or bleeding which is reassuring. I’ve got a scan tomorrow as ectopics run in the family so just need reassurance. Sorry to hear you had an ectopic 😢 bless your heart xxx
