IVF PGD referral update - The wait is on!

Hi guys 👋🏼 Just a wee update, we had our first meeting at Glasgow royal infirmary in early March after our referral from Aberdeen fertility clinic in October 18. We went with little expectation and was right to do so, they basically took more bloods from both of us, went over all the standard questions that we’ve been asked a million times and told us that we are now on the waiting list for PGD (from March 19) and to expect a year on the waiting list! Shock...NOT! Apparently it takes a whole year to do our ‘lab work’ but you know what, what can we do, we just gotta wait. We were absolutely gutted to be told we have to wait another year after getting so far and getting our diagnosis’s but what’s another year into an existing 5...?! Luckily we are a very strong couple and are both remaining positive that our time will come
