Hi ladies, I just wanted to let you know I received a letter from my hospital today (Manchester based) to basically say our case has been reviewed and they have identified that we do not require an appointment at this time and will be contacted in 3 months time with a further update. This will obviously be dependant on what the government are advising at that point too. I just feel down as I have been told my egg reserve is low and with the diagnosis of endometriosis I just worry it’s all going to be too late. This group has been great and I have been reading all the positive stories and knowing I am talking to wonderful ladies going through the same thing keeps me fighting for my dream xxx

IVF hospital letter-3month wait for further update
Sorry to hear that it isn't good news for you at this point. Totally understand how frustrating and painful this wait can be!! For me the days are feeling like weeks or months right now. Don't give up hope though lovely!! Are you with NHS? Crossing my fingers that things move forward as quickly as possible for you and everyone stuck in limbo right now xxxx
Hi Chel91 thanks for your lovely message. Yes I am with the NHS. It makes it so frustrating as around Xmas time they found a mass on my left side and at that point couldn’t rule out cancer so I had loads of scans and X-rays and thankfully wasn’t cancer but definitely delayed things moving on. I had received a letter to attend the hospital in March a long appointment which was to see the clinical IVF doctor and what also seemed to be a pre op but that got cancelled due to the virus and now it’s a wait. We have been told we have one cycle so just hoping we have a positive update in 3months. Have you had any IVF yet or waiting for your first cycle? Hope you hear some positive news soon! Xxx
Wow that sounds really frustrating! Do you know if they still need to remove the mass prior to starting IVF? I hope you get some answers soon!! Best of luck for your cycle, and hopefully the 3 months flies by!
I've had 1 cycle of IVF that was cancelled part way through due to my response. And then 1 full IVF cycle and fresh transfer that resulted in a chemical pregnancy. I'm just waiting for my FET with my remaining 2 embryos. Thank you lovely xxxx
I mean the hospital have been great in terms of how quickly the scans and things did come through and I am so grateful they did investigate and were able to tell me it wasn’t anything sinister. The last conversation was it was a cluster of cysts probably endometriomas as I have another one on my right side. At that point they didn’t was to operate or start me on injections to reduce them. They reason being is they were concerned that the operation could reduce the egg reserve lower and with me having a low egg reserve they didn’t want to start the injections but would review and scan again just before the IVF treatment to make sure nothing had changed. I am in a lucky position where me and partner can work from home so that is definitely keep my mind busy rather than having time to think about things.
I have also seen on here recently where people have Naturally conceived so it keeps my hope going that anything is possible!
I am sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancies but hopefully this is our year lovely so I have everything crossed for us both. If you get any news on your treatment starting back up then let me know xxx
Hi, please check my last post. We can all try to do something to get the government to consider our desperate situation.xx
I’m so sorry for the bad news. I can imagine it’s beyond frustrating and immensely sad for you. Just wanted to send a virtual hug your way and that we are all here to lend some ears 👂♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hi Corchi, thank you so much for your lovely message. I just seen your update on your journey! Congratulations! You have definitely been through it but seeing your scan shows it is possible. Hope you have a smooth pregnancy and I’ll be looking out for your updates xxx
