I’m 9dp5dt and the brown spotting that I really hoped was implantation bleeding has turned into AF. This is the first time I have bled before OTD. Really thought this might be our time with 2 blastos. 4th failed cycle 😢 heart broken 💔 at 40yrs old not sure of our next plan. Need some time out to recover. So frustrating to have no known cause of our infertility. Thanks for all your support, good luck to everyone. 🤗 xx

Tested again this morning BFN tomorrow is OTD but don’t have much hope now as had some blood this morning xx

I’m sorry to hear this. But I have heard stories in here of women who have bleed and still got a BFP. I know it’s hard to hold hope at this stage. But if your bleeding isn’t heavy the only way to know if to wait till OTD. Xx

I had an ectopic in 2008 and left it so this is the 2nd we have an embryo frozen but I can’t think about what to do next sorry to you too Hun xx

Very sorry to read this. How many embryos did you transfer in total? At your age, 15-20% of blastocysts are normal, hence you might need to transfer the equivalent of 6 blastocysts or more to have a shot, which might give you an idea of how many rounds you need to make.

Thanks for the info. That’s interesting to think about. We had two this time and one last cycle. Only had 3 blastos over all 4 cycles. I want to think it’s worth trying again but lost all hope and strength at the moment. X

Take time to recover, I was devastated after my bfn with 2 blastocysts. Get some rest and make a plan for your next steps.

What was your afc if I may ask? May be worth investigating whether your mix of meds is the right one for you. Perhaps if you take a higher dose or a lower dose than what you took so far, you could collect more blastocysts from each cycle. I tend to do well with the max dose of FSH stimulation medicine, while a friend of mine started collecting a lot more eggs and blastocysts when she went on milder stimulation (1/4th of what she used to take initially).

Hi, I had 6 follicles this time, 3 fertilised and 2 blastos. Last cycle we had 12 eggs, 7 fertilised and 1 blasto. They have me on the highest strength stims (Ovaleap). I seem to down reg well and my lining is always good. Obviously an implantation issue. I used injectable progesterone this time which I hoped would help. Maybe poor eggs due to my age. I’ve tried DHEA and melatonin. NK cells normal. Mystery! It’s a decision between going and going and hiring lucky or are we wasting our time cause embryos not viable! 🤷‍♀️ thanks for the info and I’ll ask on our follow up. I didn’t stimulate well on my first two cycles at a different clinic. xx

You could try endometrial biopsy + yes at your age you need to transfer at least 6 blastos to have a shot, sometimes more. You could look into PGS as well.

I'm really sorry to read your news. Did you get any feedback from the clinic embryologist as to how the embryos developed after fertilisation and also why some of them didn't fertilise? Just wondered whether this could give you a bit of a steer for future decisions on whether to continue with own eggs and /or maybe try different drug regime. I know it must be so frustrating when you have put back all your blastocysts to no avail. I hope your consultant can provide some clearer feedback and guidance at your follow up appointment.

Hi, thanks for your reply. They said the two blastos I had were good. One was much better than the other. Ready to hatch. And a goose grade. They didn’t say why the other didn’t fertilise but did say 50% fertilisation rate was good. I hope things are clearer when we get feedback from them. Hope your well x

Are you bleeding heavily . ....Did u confirm with doctor it's AF ...Bcoz I too blood 9dpt I thought my periods as come....But when I met doctor they gave me injections to stop bleeding then one week later I got hpt positive.. ...Try confirming with doctor once

I understand you have gone through very hard road and travelled long ....Diffenetely God will answer your prayers and he will be listening to your cries.. have one thought you will have a baby one day in hand....That day is nearing you .....One day you will post a positive scan report ...That will happen ......Go for a vacation ..I believe if we are happy can conceive naturally....Try going for a vacation when you ovulate ...Let God bless you with natural cycle as a gift for all the struggle you have come through ....Hugs from me

I ordered a book called it starts with the egg by Rebecca Fett, there is so much information and I've learnt so much, maybe give it a read it might give you some thing else to look.
