Follicle sizes...

Hi all,

Me again. I had my day 8 scan yesterday and the doctor sounded a bit disappointed with the medication doses and response rate. My dose has been increased again in the hope they can retrieve either Thursday or Saturday. The bigger follicles are 15 and 16 with others between 9-12. Have any of you had similar experiences? Did the slower ones catch up?

I’m a little nervous. In my mind I have time but her response of “mmmhh some of your follicles are not responding and others are growing too fast” is making me worry.

Any advise to ease my nerves would help. I can’t seem to concentrate at work. This has consumed my energy and I’m trying my best to relax.

Hey lovely, have you got a hot water bottle? Have this at your belly, I done this when I was in the same boat and it helped, also wear socks xxx

Hi .I had the same problm. But my dosage of menopur was increased as well my dosage of lucrin increased. Today all went well and wednesday I'm booked for EC.. all will go well. Dont stress

Hi Rella22. Well I would say it went well.. considering only 1 mature egg was retrieved. Doct seems confident on that 1 egg. Will knw later today. Praying immensely. Will let u knw wht feedback I get. As they say u only need 1 good egg..so let's pray. Hope all goes well for u today😘

Hi Stam,

After they increased the dose my scan 2 nights ago was better so they’ve decided to do the EC today (Thursday). I really hope the outcome is good.

Good luck! Hope they retrieve lots of perfect eggs🥰 and u have a smooth recovery. My EC scheduled for tmw. I am excited, nervous and hopeful.
