Hi, welcome 🤗 I have also had Buserelin on all my cycles.
Yes you will have a bleed. If not they will keep you on the drug a bit longer. I had my bleed really late this cycle. So it might not be when you expect it to be.
My boobs were really painful, side effect off the drug
I also had constipation. I use to just up my fibre and keep drinking lots of water.
I hope things go well for you. It is honestly different for everyone. However, one does bleed but it may vary from person to person as well. Other than that usually boobs do get sore as well. Just take extra care of yourself. Make sure to eat healthily! Also, dont exert too much. Sending baby dust your way.
Welcome to the wannabe momma soon squad!! i;ve heard Buserelin is a real pain in the ass... sorry for the words but it's basically GnRH and that comes with much discomfort. Pain in the boobs is one of the classic symptoms of being on Buserelin. Are you having any other discomfort? I haven't been on IVF yet but doing my prep with stuffing in all the info I can for the past 8 months about IVF. Like the PP said you need to bleed before they start the stims. It's in order to supress your body's natural control on reproductive cycle so it can be adjusted to suit your IVF regime. I think taking a walk... brisk walk for 30 minutes help fight the drained and fatigue that this drug causes. The breast pain cannot be helped as far as I know... you just got to bear with it... use some hot towels maybe to relief the pain. But if there's anything else you better get to the doc often they give you medicine to fight the side effect when it's really needed. Wish you luck for getting a baby soon enough...fingers crossed!
You're welcome... sweetheart!! I guess the forums are the only place where women like us could really find some relief from the judgemental and skeptical eyes. Here you don't have to try hard to explain your situation .... some one or the other could easily relate to the insecurities, sense of loss, dissapointment, pity, frustation and everything else that you're going through. Just feel free to share!!
I had sore boobs but they got worse when I started progesterone suppositories after egg collection. My period did come but much later than usual. I just had to stay on the burselin longer than initially expected. I found this period to be very heavy and painful but on the plus side it was much shorter than usual. I suffer with IBS so had constipation but assumed it was that, but could very well have been the meds. I hope you’re not too uncomfortable. Wishing you all of the luck xx
Amazing! reading that gives me so much hope ❤️🙏🏼❤️. I have previously had 4 miscarriages, haven’t got pregnant in about a year and half now hence why doctors suggested IVF.
It’s quite a journey hey, but so worth it if the result is like yours.
I’m so sorry to hear that, I can’t imagine what that must be like. This is my first ever pregnancy after 3 years of trying. I am so grateful for IVF. I found the whole experience very positive and said before I found out I was pregnant that I would do it all again. Will keep everything crossed for you x
All completely Normal I experienced these symptoms on all 3 rounds. I found my period to be a little delayed. On my first cycle they gave me a weeks course of tablets to help bring my period on. The other two were a little late also but only by a day or two nothing to worry about.
