High progesterone Cycle Day 21 blood test (on clomid first month)

Hi all,

I am coming to the end of my first cycle on clomid. I had two large follicles on day 11 (22mm and 24mm) and my final ultrasound showed both follicles released. I recently got my day 21 progesterone level results - they said anything above 30nmol is good but mine was 100.7!

Does anyone know if this means anything other than I ovulated normally?! Does anyone have any experience of high progesterone and the outcome?

Hi Beanybeanz,

On my first month of Clomid I had two large follicles. My day 21 progesterone was 95. I did wonder at the time if it was so high because there had been two follicles but never asked.

Unfortunately six cycles of Clomid later and no success for me. It did work for one of my friends though so hopefully you will have better luck than me.
