FET - Spotting on Progynova??

Me again!

Had my lining scan on Tuesday after being on Burserelin since day 21 and it was so thin they could hardly see it, yay!

Had a bleed when expected and had been spotting afterwards for a few days but it had stopped by the scan. They started me on Progynova yesterday and I’ve started spotting again now, started yesterday evening and continued today. It’s not much but it’s fairly constant. Still brown not fresh blood, sorry TMI.

Stressing me out because I’m supposed to be hanging on to the lining now not loosing it!! Couldn’t get through to the clinic this afternoon so will try again tomorrow but not sure if this is common or I should be worried?

Any thoughts?

I think they asked me to start Progynova even though I still was spotting a bit - didn't last long. When I went back for a scan after I think 2 weeks, my lining hadn't built up enough, so they upped the dose of progynova and kept me on it for five more days, which did the trick.

Hi Greyeverything. It could be that the pessaries are irritating your cervix. You could try putting them in your back passage to let the front one have a break. Could be a sign of infection, but it is usually smelly if there is infection. hope it soon settles. Diane

Not on the pessaries yet so can’t be that but yes that’s what I do when I’m on them, much better that way 😂

It’s just like the end of a period just lasting a bit longer. Seems to be easing up a bit now so hopefully will be ok x

Hi. Could just be down to old blood coming away from the procedure of FET. Even with that, your cervix needs to be steadied and can have a few little puncture marks to heal up. Hope all is OK. Diane
