I'm 6.5 weeks pregnant, this evening my husband dropped my cat on my pelvis as I was laying on my back. It really hurt where her paw landed just in from my knicker line at the side. This was at approximately 7.30pm, it is now 4.30am and I am still in discomfort in the area. I emailed my fertility specialist (we did ivf) and he wasn't worried. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Or does anyone know where baby is at this stage? Is he in my pelvis or slightly higher up, above the top of my knickers? Is the pain from muscle injury or bruising? Thank you.

Your baby is well protected. Whilst I would be extremely peeved with my husband for being so idiotic, your baby should be fine. Xx
I think you'll be fine. Whilst I don't have my cats dropped on me (I'd drop something equally heavy on the husband's parts if I were you π) they will jump on me. I'm 11 +5 weeks and my cats weigh 5kg, 6kg and 12kg. It's not comfortable but that's cats for you π
Your baby should currently be well protected behind bone at the moment. The moment you start properly showing is when the uterus moves up and out and therefore properly on display. You've got a good few weeks until this point, and that happens beyond the high risk of miscarriage point. It's natural to be worried, I would have been too, but your baby is well protected. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x
Men are so silly π perhaps it was just a tender or sensetive area that the cat landed on? Hope itβs not to sore - would definitely make hubby grovel a bit π x
Hi MakingbabyR. Oh dear, that would make you jump. I would be surprised if any harm has come, as your little one in well below your pubic hairline at the moment, and protected. Take care. Diane
Thanks everyone. Well when it was still sore 24hrs later, my doctor had me come in. We had a scan and all is fine. Turns out he thinks i had some tendon damage. Thankfully the pain has pretty much disappeared now. So relieved that baby is ok.
