A public apology to my cat while I'm on the 2ww

My cat is a ragdoll called Mr Winklepicker.

My 2ww has so far gone something like this:

Cinema

Groom the cat

Crappy Tv

Play with the cat

Baking banana bread

Carry the cat around the house more than he'd like

Do the washing

Kiss the cat

Go for a walk

Come home and tell the cat i missed him

Phone my nan

Explain ivf to my cat

Text my boyfriend all day long

Follow the cat around

Look up recipes

Lay on the floor starring at my cat

Read a book

Play ninja cat with my cat

Write on this forum

Lock my cat in the bathroom with me when I shower

Sort out paperwork

Encourage the cat to sleep on my bed

And so on

Sorry Mr Winklepicker for being my constant companion on the 2ww. I'm not crazy yet....

Ha ha! This was my 2ww also! I think my only additional one would be carry the cat round like a baby and tell him endlessly 'you'll always be my baby, no matter what' to which he scowls at me angrily. And yet no matter how annoying I am, he still sleeps on my knee when I'm watching Grey's Anatomy every afternoon 😻 Cats are the best - Mr Winklepicker is a stunner! xx

Am also addicted to Grey's Anatomy atm. Dr McDreamy in particular. And btw - your cat looks just like mine! My cat still sleeps next to me every night. I adore him. He's next to me now as I sit with two hot water bottles (on front of tummy and my back).

I know, they are such good company. Mine often sleeps next to me in the spooning position (random!) or sometimes if I sleep on my belly he parks himself on my bum! He is crazy but I adore him 💗

Haha I’m always telling one of my bunnies Otto that he will always be my baby boy no matter what. I’d say it to my little girl too but she doesn’t enjoy the fuss as much as him lol 🐰 xx

Rabbits make wonderful pets, similar to cats and dogs in many ways, great companions and their personalities are all different. My two are complete opposites but they love each other. Just make sure that if you are tempted, research, research and research. They are a lot of hard work and certainly keep me on my toes! Totally worth it though 😍🐰❤️ xx

Thank you, he's very handsome and knows it 😂 love all the cat love coming out!! I also refer to our cat as our baby and our son all the time! I always joke that if ivf doesn't hurry up and work, I'll be putting Winky in nappies x

I LOVE this. This could be describing me, in general, with my cat. I was very much like this before and during IVF and still am at times, even since IVF worked.

And your cat is so so stunning (and i am really sorry that you lost your other cat).

Sounds like you are making the most out of the TWW, if thats possible. Distraction distraction distraction is the way to go.

How far are you into the 2WW? XXX

Absolutely amazing this made me laugh out loud. Showed your post to my DH because we do this with our cat Jojo all the time and we've both told him more times than we can count that he'll always be our son no matter what.

Fur babies are even more important going through infertility aren't they - something cute and fluffy and dependent that we can take care of!!! X
