2WW date night !

So this is a bit of a random post but me and my husband decided to have a date night to keep us busy and thinking of other things!

We went for a meal and also came to see Rhod Gilbert (comedian) and most of his show is about his feelings going through ivf with his wife ! Not quite the distraction I was hoping for but he has definitely made me laugh !

Nice to hear a mans point of view not just my husbands lmao 😂

Lol Hopefulholly I saw Rhod Gilbert in Manchester a few weeks ago - and found him so so so so funny. I felt the same as you - not quite the distraction i was hoping for but I was pleased to hear about it from a man's perspective. I was out with a group of friends (who know nothing about our fertility struggles) but when I got home I gave my hubby a great big cuddle

Oh yes I saw this show last week! Looking forward to the documentary he's making - he might not be keen on being a poster boy for infertility, but it's a brave thing to do. It would be great to get more men talking about it, and have more of their opinions on this forum.

It's extremely important to carry on living your life as you wish and not let the 2 weeks every month run your life!

It's a reminder to everyone involved not to let infertility or any condition become the sole focus of life or use it to hide behind not to do things you are frightened of!

Definitely it isn't a great thing for people to go through but if you let it get to you life will become pretty dull
