Hi everyone. Just had a call with the doctor this morning to discuss my failed ivf treatment. I chose to egg share to help anyone who needed eggs but now the doctor is telling me that it might be better if I dont go through the egg sharing process again she said that I would maybe get better quality eggs just going through ivf without sharing. Has anyone every been through this?

My last testment I had 29 eggs taken from me but only 14 were mature so 7 for me 7 donated. After ICSI 6 of the 7 fertilised and by day 3 things were looking good all 6 were doing well until day 5 I just had 1 that reached the blastocyst stage. After FET I waited the 12days to find it disnt work. I just dont feel very positive after hearing the doctor say this to me.

Sorry the last round didn’t work out. I think he is saying so you get to keep your eggs and increase your chances. We all have a certain number of eggs that are genetically viable so by not sharing you are increasing that number and your chances of it working I think xx

Wow! 29 - 14 eggs what a haul!

I have so few eggs if I’m not pregnant this year we’ll be looking at a donor - or surrendering to fate.

Thank you for being so generous. It’s an incredible gift you’re giving someone xx
