Aborted IUI

afternoon everyone

Today was a check up to see if I was ready for my 4th and final IUI, unfortunately it’s aborted due to too many follicles which may give multiple births

Was so ready for my last try but now need to wait another month 😢

Been told to stop my injections and no unprotected sex. I’m actually thinking of having unprotected sex as it’s not a definite that I would have twins or triplets it would just be a chance to take

What does anyone think? Would you follow doctors orders or go for the unprotected sex?

Any advice would be great 😊

Hi Mlamiller. Oh dear! When this happens it's a shame they couldn't have converted the cycle to IVF. All you can do is to follow your specialist's advice and let everything settle down again. Don't know what else to say, except for make sure you drink plenty of water and have a rest when you can. Hope it's not to long before a new plan is implemented. Thinking of you. Diane
