I’m having to take public transport to and from my FET as hubby has work interview same day and I don’t drive. I’m very worried about this as i have to get on 2 trains and walk between bus stop and train station for my journey. Don’t mind going via public transport but worried about my return home after the transfer via same.
I’m I worrying unnecessarily?

I felt quite anxious after my transfer about going on a train and tube during peak time in London on an afternoon. I just kept my distance from people and walked slowly. I had one unsuccessful transfer and one successful. So I don't think it made much difference but i definitely relate to you feeling anxious.
Just take your time. Set your own pace. Sit down for a break in between journeys if you want. Or you could consider getting a cab!
Could you take the opportunity to see it as time to relax? Read a book or listen to relaxing music or an ivf meditation session. As kempton said, go at your own pace and don’t rush for connections. If you miss one, go for a brew.
Don't worry too much hon. The exercise from a walk will get the blood flowing to your uterus. Once it's it, it's in, you can get on with your daily stuff as normal. I asked if I could go bike riding the day after and my consultant thought it was a fantastic idea (it was him that said about getting the blood flowing from exercise).
I agree with CAS2, you have nothing to worry about. I had to take the tube after my transfer and walk home and to be quite honest with you I really enjoyed it. I went straight back to work the following day and did loads of walking to get the blood flowing.
I had a friend give me a great visual for whenever I got nervous about doing things after transfer. "Think of your uterus as a jam sandwich" nothings moving outa there! Its strangely comforting
Research has shown that women that carry on with normal activities after transfer have higher implantation success rates. The embie won’t fall out. Transit won’t harm your chances. Be peaceful 🌻
I walked around loads after my transfers, a wee rest immediately after at the clinic (for about 10 mins max including getting changed and going to loo). My clinic is in Barcelona so I did fly home after, but not until the day after. Everyone has to travel home somehow, a couple of buses should be fine. People sometimes travel half way around the world and get bfps. The most important thing is to relax (easy pah). Take your time, maybe go for a wee cake and decaffeinated coffee on the way. Make a wee trip of it.
