Anyone else had diahorrea in early pregnancy? I’m 5+4 weeks and last 3 days after food I’m rushing to the toilet with wind and some loose stools (tmi)

I’m quite concerned as had previous miscarriages and getting cramps but no signs of bleeding.

I experienced a very sudden bout of diarrhoea at about the same stage in my first pregnancy. It was only on one or two occasions though, so not over a period if days. I went to a drop in as I was concerned I might have a food bug, which could threaten the pregnancy, but was advised by the doctor that as I had no other symtoms of a food bug (such as a fever or not feeling myself) then not to worry. Just keep fluids up but don't take anything else for it.

I honestly reckon it was a surge in hormones when my body realised "hey you're pregnant". Shortly after I had other pregnancy symtoms such as nausea.

My baby was born healthy and it didn't happen again in the pregnancy. I've heard of other women who experienced diarrhoea but no sickness at the start . Hopefully everything is ok for you too.
