I’m only 4 weeks pregnant following a positive test and I have noticed some bleeding after intercourse. Extremely worried now and wondering if I have had a miscarriage xx

Try not to panic (in know it’s near impossible not to) but it’s really common to bleed in the early stages and can be brought on after intercourse. Was there much there? I’ve had quite a bit of bleeding on and off through this pregnancy, but it’s been fine each time. Have you spoken with your clinic about the bleeding? Wishing you lots of luck for a healthy pregnancy 💕🙏 xX

I agree with Clover5. Usually they say not to worry unless you have enough blood to fill a pad in an hour. Lots of people get bleeds and are fine. I would get in touch with your clinic and speak with them too. Big hugs at this scary time xxx

Thank you so much for your reply, it wasn’t loads but I’m still worrying about it. I’m expecting my period to start anyday now xx

Sorry to hear about your bleeding-I had spotting at 6.5 weeks & it didn’t amount to anything. It was terrifying & I worried it could be the start of a miscarriage. My GP was hugely reassuring & basically said not to worry unless it was heavy ( like filling a pad every hour) & intense cramping. She said lots of women spot in early pregnancy. You can implant up to 12 weeks. Really hope it settles down. Rest up is needed. Put your feet up until it passes xoxo

Thank you Jess, also I’ve noticed that I’m having discharge and it’s orange coloured?? Xx

in reply toAbi12344

I’m not sure about orange, perhaps ask your GP to be completely sure .I’m sure it’s fine as long as it’s not offensive smelling & sore/itchy, any offensive discharge in pregnancy should always be checked by a doctor.it could be where it has been diluted down. I had pink & light brown spotting ( in discharge) Has it eased up? xoxo
