Reaction to buserelin

I'm feeling really frustrated. Down regging for 11 days with buserelin and on the 12th day I developed a drug reaction. I had my scan the next day and they told me I could start stims and wanted me to retry buserelin at reduced dose for that night as planned. I had a slight reaction but nowhere near the same extent as the night before but the consultant has advised today that I stop buserelin completely and only continue with stims. I asked the clinic if I could continue as I didnt want it to affect my cycle but they said I need to stop it and is should be fine, they might just need to do extra blood monitoring from now.

I dont really understand it all and I'm really worried this is going to affect my cycle. Has anyone experienced this or got any advice?

What reaction did you have? You will probably feel better when you stop down regging but I’m no expert! From my experience I had no side effects at all from the menopur

I had quite a bad skin reaction at the injection site (large area of redness, raised white bumps and stinging ) but I think the most concerning was that I also developed lip swelling. My consultant advised me to stop and they have been monitoring my bloods and scans quite closely. I'm still slighty worried that my natural hormones take over but so far they say all is ok. I really dont want my cycle to be cancelled. This is day 7 of stims.
