2nd IVF round

I haven't posted for a year, but read feeds daily. Started my 2nd round of IVF a few weeks ago and had egg collection yesterday. I was in quite a bit of pain yesterday when I came home, but feel loads better today, just some tenderness in my tummy, although I'm really tired- wondering if this is normal?

Had 20 eggs collected and 10 have fertilised, I wasn't sure if this was good or not, but the embryologist was happy with 10 being fertilised. Fingers crossed they keep on doing what they need. Xx

This is amazing!! Those numbers are unbelievable well done!! Really good count! We’re expecting our second cycle in about 6 weeks, only had 3 collected and 1 fertilised on our first round. Hope you feel better and positive on your brilliant embrybabies xxx

Thank you. Everything is such a waiting game, it feels like a year waiting for the phone call each morning. Hope ur next round goes well too xx

You've got great numbers and not surprising you're a bit sore after all the prodding around they must have done to get all of those out!! You're probably also tired from the sedative/anaesthetic, for me it always leaves me very drained the next couple of days. Take it easy and hope those little embies keep on going xxx

Thank you. It's nice to hear the way other people feel after egg collection, when I read on Google (I know I shouldn't Google) most people seem to go back to work the next day xx

I had tenderness on my tummy and didn’t feel right for nearly a week and I had 19 eggs. Keep rested if that’s what your body is telling you x
