A month after IVF failed my period is 5 days late, could I be pregnant?

Hi

Has anyone else had a similar experience to me? I'm usually dead on 28 days with cycle but this is day 32 and period hasn't started. I've been having period pains since Fri on and off, feeling really tired on the Thurs. Did a clear blue digital test this morning first wee and negative. I'm sure it is going to start soon but just wondered if anyone has had similar experience and did last ivf cycle mess up their cycle for the following month?

Hello,

My first period after my first fresh cycle failed was 9 days late, it was torture! I was on buraselin which shuts off your natural cycle so think it can take a while to kick back in again.

Yes I’m on day 3, still no sign of it starting. I’ve been told that your Hormones are slow to recover and reach normal after the kind of disruption ivf gives. X

I think it's unlikely if you've done a test and it's only the first month after. My periods took a few months to get back to normal.

I think you are all probably right and it's just delayed due to having ivf last month. Not been through the after affects of ivf before as the last time I went through it was 3 years ago and got pregnant the first time. This is our first fail of ivf. Oh well just going to wait it out, not going to test again unless another 7 days pass and no period. Frustrating!
