So I have to get a polyp removed before continuing with my cycle. The doctor who did my eye retrieval is going to do the removal but at a different clinic closer to my home.
So he had to write a letter from himself to himself to refer me, said letter then went missing for 2 weeks and had to be resent.
Now I have to go for a consultant appointment in the clinic before I can book the operation even though this doctor has already scanned the polyp and discussed with me that he needs to remove it at the other clinic.
So have to wait another 3 weeks for this appt which will probably involve me walking in and out of his office within 5minutes and then I'll have to wait for a surgery date.
So frustrating when stupid little things hold it all up!

Thank you. You've been lovely and so has everyone on here. For now i'm just gonna spend time with my lovely husband until we get our own heads around it and let it sink in. We will be fine and still have our free NHS cycle when it comes round in about 8 months so gonna take that time to get my head round tgings and get all the weight i've put on off. Looking forward to hearing how your story goes and wishing you lots of positivity and happiness.xx
Yeah 8 months should be a good time for things to start up again, oh I know what you mean about the weight.. I've put on a lot too.. thank you and best of luck for the future xo
I can relate! Last year when I had a polyp, the doctor who found it, said I had to go from him, to GP, back to him to get appointment for it to be removed. So stupid.
