Look for a suitable fertility clinic

Hi I was hoping to get some recommendations for fertility clinics preferably in the north west of the uk.im getting cought up in the success rates and it’s really not helping. I recently had a miscarriage from ivf cycle number 3. My clinic is abroad and I feel like I would like to stay closer to home. Please Dm me of you have any suggestions. Thank you x

Sorry I didn't originally reply as I'm not in the north west. However I would just say that try not to get caught up in the success rates too much. Many of them are skewed depending on criteria and how they measure them but I think it's very hard to compare them like for like across clinics. I would go to open days / evenings and see how the actual clinic feels for you and response times to admin etc etc. I thought I was at one of the best clinics in London originally but the admin is absolutely dreadful and very stressful, so I'm going to an open day tomorrow at another clinic to see what that's like. Thank you Hifer that’s a really good option I am going to a couple of open days coming up and will see which clinics seem the most suitable and will hopefully have a consultation I know some offer 15 min initial consultations free so will look into that. All the best to you too x

Hi Diane I have looked but again I get cought up in the success rates. The one in my budget a 2 hours drive away so I’m planning to go for a open evening and see how I get on. Thank you x

I got my BFP today after 2 FET on 14th January, am super excited and is my 3rd IVf , 1st was on 2017 got BFP at first attempt my Son will be 2 years this year, 2nd one failed last December and now this one💃💃💃💃baby dust to those still on 2ww
