Hey everyone,

Been a fair few weeks since I posted. Come to terms with my miscarriage 😔 been a tough time but I need focus on the future.

I was wondering how long it will take to come on my first period after the miscarriage? It’s been 5 and a half weeks now and still no sign.

Hi it took me 28-30 after all 3 of my mc I think it just depends on your body how quick your hcg levels go down and hormones to kick in up to 8w is normal.

Hi, is that 28-30 after day one of your bleeding or after you had finished bleeding? So sorry to ask you but I’m waiting for day 1 so I can ring clinic 😔

My last mc was an mva 5th jan got period 4th Feb so from day of mc, mc bleeding was minimal for about 9 days neg pregnancy test and positive opk was 17th Jan. Its really a waiting game

My experience is a bit different to yours as mine was spontaneous at 6wks exactly 4 weeks ago. I didnt shed my lining at my point of miscarriage, just the pregnancy. I know my hCG levels were down to 12 9 days later but I havent had any bleeding yet. I was told to expect a bleed 4-6 weeks later. I would expect your hormone levels would have taken longer to settle down to normal levels in order for your cycle to come back.xx

Hi Babyblues. Unfortunately, it can take up to 3 months for your hormones to return to what is normal for you., but hopefully it won't take that long - fingers crossed. Diane

Mine took 3 months. Had mc in August didn't bleed again until January this year. Every one is different.
