9dp5dt - Bleeding 💔

Think it’s all over 💔 has really intense AF cramps yesterday and was convinced my period was about to start and then nothing happened, cried so much last night I exhausted myself that I slept through the night and woke up feeling “normal” cramps had gone and still hadnt bled. Had a bath and as I was coming out (sorry for the TMI!) leaked some pessary gunk which was brown, mixed with ewcm which the clinic said was all positive as it sounded like old blood and to call them back if there was any fresh blood. An hour later started to bleed 😭 at the moment it’s only when I wipe but it’s definitely fresh blood. I’m heartbroken and tired, tired of waiting and the getting my hopes up that this still might result in a pregnancy 🙏🏻 only for them to come crashing down again 😭 I want this transfer to work and to have a baby but I feel like this cycle is over already. I’m going to continue with the crinone and test on Sunday as planned, Sunday is my OTD and it’s also Mother’s Day 😭💔 this journey can be so cruel and it’s so unfair.

I no how hard it is not to worry but I had exactly the same! I started spotting on day 7 then by day 9 I had fresh blood! It wasn’t enough but was enough to make me panic and think it hadn’t worked!! We tested on 11p5dt and to our total shock we got a bfp!! And I’m 17 weeks tomorrow

It’s such a hard journey but please don’t think your our just yet!!! Will be thinking of you xxx

It’s the positive stories that kept me going, so hopefully this will keep you going too!!! It’s such a hard journey for us all but we’re strong enough to carry on!!

Thank you, all so far so good xxx

Hi Sarah, at least the red blood is still only light when you wipe and not a proper flow - I’ve heard of some people get a BFP even with a bit of red - and sometimes it’s the pessaries irritating your cervix and making it bleed a little. I don’t want to get your hopes up but I also don’t think you should be throwing in the towel yet. Just hold on. I know it’s hard and all so unfair and cruel. Even if it’s not a BFP, you WILL be ok and you WILL find your positivity and strength to keep on going xxxx lots of luck

Thanks Scarlett13 I’ve been reading lots of posts today from women who have had bleeding during the 2WW and still got their BFP, I’m really hoping I get to post on Sunday that we have our BFP xxx
