Hello guys following up my previous post which was the 2nd Scan 20 week update in which we went to and Bedford hospital couldnt see the celeberrum in which I was referred to Luton and Dunstable which they saw the celeberrum but was 18mm-19mm which is borderline the sonographer said it was hard to take ultrasound images as pocs were clear, as I have slight mummy fat around my waste and she advised come back on 5th March for another check up.
So went for the 5th March scan and the celeberrum has grown which is very good and matches my dates as I was 21weeks 1day and the celeberrum was 21mm. And yet again she couldnt get good images. The sonographer wasnt talkative or anything which i didnt like and made me feel annoyed!! She said i cant be definite if the scan was all okay and couldnt say much. She said the brain area was measuring small where last week it was fine! She has said come back for another scan on 8th March with another consultant in which they could see better images. And that she will refer us for a MRI scan.
I advised her Bedford hospital have said everything is fine and the only concern eas that the celeberrum couldnt be seen, since you have seen it and its growing everything should be ok, she didnt say much and then the midwife took us to a waiting room and advised the main concern was celeberrum which has grown and she had to advise what the sonographer was saying. Its been such a stressfull headache so far!
Should I be concerned as they have advised another scan, this back and forth business isnt ideal for me!! Sorry for the rant guys!!
