Scan tomorrow

We’ve got an appointment tomorrow for a 3d scan to check uterus for any reasons why we keep miscarrying also we get the results of the test which were done 6 weeks ago! I have rang twice about them first times she said only my thyroid results were back which were fine but others take longer. The next time said they would be given at the same app as the scan. Just feels a long time to wait I hope there’s nothing wrong. Does anyone else’s clinic do the same?

Sorry I haven't got any experience but just wanted to say I hope you finally get some answers xx

I would think this is fairly normal for all the results to come back a few weeks later as some tests will take longer than others and they need to ensure they have all the information together so they can get a clear picture of what they need to discuss with you if anything! Hope all goes as well as can be expected.xx

Thanks, Ok I think they’ve had them back for a bit but are waiting for the appointment maybe to explain them but if they were ok could they not have just said over the phone they’re fine and will go into detail in the appointment just makes me think there’s something 😕

I always think that the medics prefer to give results out in person as sometimes a result doesnt give much of an explanation and face to face results are better to make sure you can ask as many questions as you need to etc and they'll also need this scan today so they can tie up everything together. I know its easy for me to day but try not to worry and at least if something is found then hopefully they can give you some reassurance with a plan that you can move forward with. Hugs.xx

Hi grw. I realise it's a pain, but best t get all tests/scans done, then speak to you about the findings. Obviously I hope all is OK. Thinking of you. Diane

Good luck and hope you get some answers xx

Been for scan today all looked fine got test results back they were all good too so nothing to show why we miscarry other than age.

Good news. Have you had your bloods and proteins checked too? Older ladies blood thickens which is the reason why we are asked to start taking baby aspirin once we get pregnant. I started taking it 2 months before transfer this time. Not saying it will definitely be the answer. But it is worth checking. Xx

Did 3 tests for clotting all came back normal 🤷🏻‍♀️ nothing else offered just the thyroid test normal too

I took baby aspirin with the last pregnancy I have been taking it since Feb again my test were done in jan
