Had enough already!

After our consultation last week at our new clinic which went well, we were told to come back for a better scan as they have just moved premises and only have a portable scanner. Dr said he wanted to get one over in a week from their main clinic to scan me and wants the nurse to be there at the same time. Nurse rang today and said we would have to go to the main clinic which isnt local for the scan, and the dr and nurse wont be together till the new year!!!

We were supposed to start ivf in july, its just one thing after another. If i cant start in january as planned im giving up. Things keep happening to stop us even starting so looks like its not meant to be.

Hi there, ah that is really annoying. We have had lots of twists and turns in the IVF process.

At the start what i needed were solid dates to get started so I could just get on the bus and get on with it once I had decided.

So hard to know when to draw the line and stop.

Ah this is frustrating - especially after last time. Why do they need both the nurse and DR to be there? I had a dr scan me and no nurse was present unless I saw a male dr. Xx

I dont know its what the dr wanted. Ive spoken to them this morning to arrange another scan at their main clinic with the dr, just worries me how we keep getting all these setbacks, i just want to get it all over with!xx

Yes I know what you mean, as I said to you before I’m obsessed with taking certain things as a sign but also this will all be worth it. When have you arranged the next scan for? Xx

I totally get you!! This is my 3rd Fresh IVF cycle and had 1 frozen transfer too!! All have been totally different! Some cycles were straight forward and I had a plan some are totally all over the place!

My work does not know that I am trying IVF again .. I am supposed to have scans in a clinic near me! Yesterday I was at work and my clinic called me to ask me to go 50 miles away for the scan before 12! They called me at 10:30!! I lost it with the nurse!! I think they are brave dealing with women pumped up with hormones!!

But please don’t give up it’s a long winded process but the result will worth it at the end!! X

Im glad its not just me i felt like it wasnt meant to happen with all this. Im sorry youve had to deal with that too though, as if its not stressful enough. Its not going to be easy with all the rushing here and there especially with work. But at least its a short cycle so it wont be for too long x
