This is my 3rd cycle, and 1st FET. (I had a BFP on my 2nd)
I'm 7dp5dt and OTD is 12dp5dt (weds). So far I've had a few symptoms that could mean anything... mainly dull cramps and a weird pulling/heavy feeling that comes and goes only lower tummy. I've had a few strong headaches (prob due to hormones) and have felt ridiculously tired. I was a bit emotional yesterday too. No nausea, no dizziness, nothing else really until today. The cramps have stepped up a bit but are still dull and mild (not as strong as AF) but seem to be mainly on one side (my left).
Tonight I've started spotting. (Tmi but a tiny amount on my knickers and nothing when I wiped... Dark brown almost discharge rather than just blood). Then later when I went to the loo, I wiped and it was there but again just like a watery brown and hardly any. I'm a bit scared it might get heavier tonight/tomorrow because the cramping has increased a bit....
I'm taking cyclogest (progesterone) pessaries 3/d and progynova (oestrogen) tablets 3/d... So I guess we'll see tomorrow.
Does anyone have any helpful advice or experiences with this? I'd rather just know than kid myself but can't help clinging on to hope!! 🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞🍀🤞
Good luck to you all ladies xxx

I spotted on and off for weeks caused by the irritation of the cervix from using the pessaries. Very common. I also had cramps at 7dp5dt then went on to get a BFP.
Could go either way for you but wishing you the best of luck xx
Thanks lovely. Congratulations on your BFP! Did you use your pessaries vaginally? I've been doing them in the bum (TMI!) 🤣 so wonder if that would still irritate the cervix? X
I’m on my second FET. I’m taking the same medication as you and took it for my first FET too. It’s my understanding that the medication holds off any bleeding, I stopped mine on test day after getting my bfn and bled about a week later.
Fingers crossed what you’re experiencing is implantation bleeding 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Try and relax and not think about the spotting.
Yep! I starting spotting before my test date and this carried on after my BFP and viability scan. At one point I even had some bright red blood after a sudden pain that went as quickly as I felt it. I stopped spotting at about 10 weeks. Turned out my lining was irritated and baby is fine, due to arrive in the next 2 weeks. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine. Xx
I had the exact symptoms you describe last Wed (which was day 8p5dt for me). I had convinced myself it was all over and was feeling very down especially as this may be our last try with my own eggs as I am 45 in 10 days time. I got a BFP on Saturday morning and was so shocked, I nearly fell off the toilet seat! I really hope it works out the same for you. X
Thanks for this lovely, and huge congratulations on your BFP I'm so pleased for you!
How many days post transfer were you on sat when you got your BFP?
I don't want to give up hope but I think it's pretty unlikely to have been successful for me this time. I've had a BFN on sat, sun and today from a HPT (days 8dp5dt, 9dp5dt and 10dp5dt) and whilst my spotting is not AF yet, it feels like the pessaries are what is holding it back. Xx
I tested on day 7 and it was negative. Was sure it was all over and didn't want to test again. Had started planning my next steps! Finally decided to test again on day 11 and I got a faint positive which was much stronger by the next day. I so hope you get your BFP. This was my second transfer so I know how upsetting it is to get a BFN. This is a long game though so if you do get a BFN, it doesn't mean it will never work. X
Hi Nednoodle, I know this post is a year old but I’m 44 and just had my 4th egg collection and fresh transfer. Congratulations on your BFP you have given me hope! I’m 9dp5dt and just wanted to know when you got your BFP at 11dp5dt were you using FRER or a less sensitive HPT? My OTD is tomorrow but all my HPTs have been stark white negatives 😢
