Fertility counselling, London

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend a fertility counsellor in London please? I've not started IVF yet (and kind of in between treatments at my clinic) so don't think I'll be eligible with them. If you would rather PM me then that would also be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

I can recommend One Retreat (oneretreat.co.uk).

They're not specifically a fertility counsellor, but they run relationship workshops for couples - think of it a bit like a non-cringey relationship MOT. My husband and I went before starting treatment. It helped to manage our expectations, understand each other and open up our communication. We both agreed that it was the best weekend, and we now feel like a super-hero couple who could take on the world together.

I'd previously been married and had divorced after x2 failed ICSI attempts due to the stress and strains; so I was really mindful of not making the same mistakes!

Thank you sooo much for taking the time out to write such a comprehensive reply. I will definitely take a look at that. Sounds really interesting. I am very mindful of this too. Last year, we got into a really bad place and it feels like we might be nudging towards that way again. It's all just so flippin stressful and it's taking it's tole on me.
