Having awful side effects not sure can cope much longer. Been on 100mg tablets for about 6 to 8 weeks now. Start down reg on short flare protcol 2moro with egg collection mid march. When can i quit? If quit now will intake so far have been pointless? I guess i could keep going for another week or two but the temper rages, massive weight gain and stomach problems not to mention some anxiety is tough. When is recommended time to stop and should you taper off or okay to go cold turkey straight from 100mg?

Hi 👋

I’m doing the flare protocol too and was taking DHEA - I just stopped them myself - they are only a recommendation and the clinic never mentioned them to me at consent app xxx

Hi. Hope you're well. What stage are u at now? When did you stop taking them? What side effects did you have? (Sorry for the hundred questions). I'm already obsessing over what my numbers will be (how many, follicles, embryos, good quality and how many make it until transplant) my head hurts lol How you feeling? This is my first try... what about you?

Hi. As a general rule you take DHEA just for about 2 months prior to treatment, longer if recommended by your specialist. I would imagine that you will be advised to stop taking them now. Hope all goes well for you this time. Diane
