OTD blood test process?

Hello, our 2ww will end on tuesday when we are going into the clinic at 8am for blood tests. We’ve decided not to test at home before then. Does anyone know what the process is? I can’t imagine they will get the blood test results back right away? Do we just have to go to work and wait for a phone call?! Seems like a weird way to end such a long and emotional process!

At our clinic I was told to phone back after 12.30 for the result. Try and keep yourself busy xx

They usually take a few hours. I had already done my test at home and went for bloods for them to confirm but still took a few hours. Personally think testing at home would be a good idea first especially if you have Work but do understand if you would rather not..
