Hi Marie
I'm in Manchester having fertility treatment but have never heard of them. Care, Manchester Fertility and St Marys were the main choices when we decided.
Good luck with your treatment
Wow that's wonderful! I usually consider moving on in your fertility journey as a try to get a step closer to your success perhaps. I'm not acquainted with the particular clinic but I can tell you about my experience. You'll need a lot of optimism to go on mark it down. The process might come along with mild pain and discomfort over the procedure but then it's nothing compared to the emotional turmoil you'll be on. I guess it's just all the meds pumping up in your system and raging emotional outbursts, mood swings and really whimsical at times. What exactly is the infertility cause in your case... if you don't mind sharing? Well one thing that might just help if you happen to be a low responder on ovarian stimulation... egg banking could help. It's just then when you do not get as much as egg you should they tend to freeze them and only go for IVF once there are enough numbers. So you have a good amount of embryo when the transfer begins so that you're having more chance at success. Wish you all the luck in the world to have a baby soon!
Hi Katty thank you for taking the time to reply to me I have been trying for a baby for almost 4 years with no success so had a lap done and found out I have both tubes blocked I have appointment next week so I will go from there how is everything going for you? Lots of luck to you
I'm doing good... just back to basic TTC regime till we make up our mind about what to do next. Oh, sad to hear about your blocked tubes. Well just in case it helps you and if you don't mind I'd like to suggest a couple of things. I don't have personal experience with blocked tubes but 5+ years into TTC with failed IVF have made me collect a thing or two that might prove helpful. Over the voracious online reading and the amount of time I spent on the fertility forums, surgery has 50% chance of helping you conceive if it's only the blocked tubes that's been preventing you from conceiving. I'd suggest you get the blocks cleared anyway first and then go for IVF... if the time isn't pressing on you. IVF will anyway rule out blockades as there are no involvements of them in the process. However, eventually, you'll have to get the blocks removed sooner or later. So why not do it before and then go for IVF thereafter if it doesn't work. Hope this helps!
