I've been doing better than expected during the 2WW after my first transfer last Friday. I've been operating near normal, but every day becoming less and less productive. Today I feel incapable of doing anything. I'm giving up trying and just going to watch some TV to get me through the rest of the day. It's just this weird mix of feeling restless, but also too tired to do anything. It feels like time has stopped completely.
I've been home alone all week. I just need to make it through today and the weekend will be so much easier with my husband home. Tomorrow we're celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, which I'm really looking forward to. Then test day is Monday.
I'm thinking of all you ladies who are currently going through or have experienced the 2WW after treatment before. It's not for the faint of heart. Xx

It must be a really difficult time, especially trying to keep your mind from wondering. Thinking of you and I hope you have a nice wedding anniversary at the weekend best of luck for Monday.
Time really does drag in the 2ww. I had some time off the first time but went back to work for the others....I spent far too much time on my own which makes it drag even more! Have you got a good boxset that you can get stuck into or even head out for a walk in the fresh air? Hopefully wont be too much of a long day for your hubby coming home! Have a lovely weeks for your anniversay, hope you have something nice planned! Good luck for Monday.xx
Hi Foodie. Sounds pretty normal to me,for someone who has been through any treatment cycle. You put your feet up and enjoy your daytime TV! Your "wooden" wedding anniversary coming up, so you can have a think what would be a good prezzie - enjoy and keeping fingers crossed for you. Diane
Sounds like you’re doing really well especially being home alone. Enjoy some relaxing tv time 😄 hope you have a lovely anniversary! Keeping everything crossed for Monday 🙏💕 xx
Bring on the boxsets and TV!!!!! Why flippin' not!?! Hope the weekend is better with your hubby off. During my 2ww's I had a few days that were spent in front of the telly as I was either totally stressing or just couldn;'t be bothered. Just physically getting through certain days is a major acheivement I reckon at these times! So hope you;ve been watching some good stuff, woth the feet up and some good treats (....like chocolate!).
Good luck for test day. It's a very surreal experience to be going through. We're on our second 2ww, I've been more relaxed so far and trying to distract myself and not think about it all so much. Take it easy, eat regularly and talk a few short walks x x
