We have two remaining Frosties. Now that we have had two failed transfers we have the option of putting two back instead of just one. My husband and I are pretty much sure that we will just put one back again in case it doesn’t work, this way we still have one more shot. I’m starting to question whether we should transfer both to give us a better chance, also the thought of twins is lovely. We are trying an endometrial scratch this time.
Any thoughts or opinions welcomed 😊 xx

There are more risks with twins & some ladies on here that have had twins with problems have said they’d perhaps should have gone for one to avoid the risks to both babies and Mother.
One sounds sensible as if you discover something that has caused the failed attempts (if this one also failed) then you could seek treatment and then use the remaining one.
You sound just like me...we've had 2 failed cycles/transfers and have 2 frosties left. I dont even have the choice because my IVF is publicly funded (or NHS for you ladies in the UK) they will only put 1 back as risk of twins is too much both on the mother and the health system. My clinic actually has said transferring 2 does not increase chances maybe very slightly in fact they said if one embryo is abnormal it can sometimes affect the other embryo implanting. Plus I like the idea of 2 chances instead of 1 and your embryos are a good grade mine were both frozen on day 6 a 5bb and 4bb 😁 best of luck whatever you choose to do 🤞🤞💕xxx
Hard decision... I have also failed 2 cycles, and next time we will put 2 back but I will still have 5 left after that so it’s a bit different I guess. I’m apprehensive about putting 2 back but I think I would be shocked if both took since I’ve never managed to get pregnant so far. My consultant said that double transfer increases chance to get pregnant by 10-15% and half of the women who became pregnant after double transfer will end up with multiples. I feel like you are leaning towards one as you want to have a backup so maybe you should go with your gut feeling x
Hi ya i am having a medicated fet starting the end of the month, we are putting 2 back, I have had 3 fresh cycles 2 with 1 back and one with 2. Had 2cp's (1 with 1 transferred and one with 2 transferred) the last cycle where i had 1 5 day blast transferred was a negative. We had 3 frosties ( first time ever to have any) so we are going for 2 this time and will still have a shot at it again with our one remaining then, that is provided they all defrost normally 🤞🙏. It's such a personal decision but I suppose wen we had an odd number it makes sense to do 2 one of the times. Hope it all works out for u.
I would follow the recommendation of your doctors. In my case, they showed me statistical evidence how transferring 2 would not increase the chance of a born child...
I had an endo scratch too due to previous MC, and also had embryo glue - again both by their recommendation. It did work for us and we are expecting our first baby in June.
Good luck, I really hope it will work for you this time XXX
Hi Jenny, I posted this same question about a week ago so feel free to read my last post, some interesting experiences that may also help.
I have my FET in March and only have 2, left and after lots of deliberation we have decided to go with 1, don't think I can face losing 2 but it is such a difficult decision, good luck xx
