Manual vaccum aspiration MVA

Just had this procedure today I was really worried it would hurt as I would be awake it’s done under local anaesthetic. Have to say it’s a little uncomfortable but not painful to my relief. You cramp abit after and need pain killers but much better than a natural miscarriage. So I’m tucked up in bed chilling and the codeine has kicked in. Thank you for everyone’s support your messages have really comforted me over the last few weeks.

I think it’s the not knowing what to expect that frightens you.

Glad it wasn’t as painful as you thought. Rest up and look after yourself xx
